JAY'S PLAYS: Can Vikes go to the next level?

The Minnesota Vikings, coming off a big win last weekend in Seattle, will try to keep pace in the NFC North against the New England Patriots, who are taking to the ground these days in another attempt to get back to the Super Bowl. Tom Brady's had to work with a new cast of receivers, and has done so with a certain degree of success. But it's been defense and the running game that has spelled success thus far for the Pats. Same can be said for the Vikes under new coach Brad Childress. What will happen? Host Charles Jay of Total Action Radio tries to forecast it.

SUPERIOR SPORTS TALK: Sunday rundown - Pro Football (10/29)

What will happen when the irrestible force (Peyton Manning and the Colts) meets the immovable object (the Denver Broncos' defense)? Can Tony Romo breathe new life into the Dallas Cowboys? Is David Garrard a short-term answer for the Jaguars? Do the Arizona Cardinals have any heart left? Will "new blood" in the offensive schemes do the Ravens or Browns any good? On this edition of Superior SportsTalk, host Charles Jay tries to answer some of these questions. He runs down all the NFL pointspreads, totals and money lines as they appear on SuperiorBook.com. He also gives his insight as to what "Jay's Plays" he's going to use in his $1 Million Sports Betting Challenge against SuperiorBook.

SUPERIOR SPORTS TALK: Saturday rundown -- College Football (10/28)

Ohio State and Michigan have relatively easy games as they proceed on the road toward a showdown for the Big Ten title and a BCS title berth, but there are a lot of matchups in college football today that bring quite a bit of intrigue. One of them is in Atlanta, where Georgia Tech, stomped last week by Clemson, plays host to Miami, which can actually take the lead in the ACC Coastal Division with a win. Also, Notre Dame looks for its 43rd consecutive win over Navy. Those games, and every other contest on the college football board, will be discussed by host Charles Jay on this edition of Superior SportsTalk, brought to you by SuperiorBook.com, where they're serious about sports!! You'll also be treated to "Jay's Plays," in which the host gives out his selections - the ones he'll be using in the $1 Million Sports Betting Challenge against SuperiorBook.

SUPERIOR SPORTS TALK: Sunday rundown - Pro Football (10/15)

Once again, there are plenty of interesting storylines in the works as the NFL struts into another weekend. The Dallas Cowboys head into their intra-state game against the Houston Texans in the throes of the latest Terrell Owens soap opera, which is all starting to get Bill Parcells visibly annoyed. Ben Roethlisberger gets another chance to prove that he can be productive as the Pittsburgh Steelers, on a three-game losing streak, play host to the Kansas City Chiefs, who start Damon Huard again at quarterback. Joey Harrington once again leads the Miami Dolphins into battle against the New York Jets, who are smarting from their 41-0 loss to Jacksonville last week. And the Carolina Panthers, minus defensive leader Dan Morgan, try to match up against the Baltimore Ravens, who aren't getting all the production they wanted out of Steve McNair. Plus, two college games are on tap for Sunday, pitting Boise State against New Mexico State and Miami of Ohio against Buffalo.

On this edition of Superior SportsTalk, host Charles Jay runs down the pointspreads, totals and money lines for all these games, discusses key injuries, and offers his own unique insight by giving you his "Jay's Plays" he has used in the $1 Million Sports Betting Challenge with SuperiorBook.

SUPERIOR SPORTSTALK: Sunday rundown - Pro Football (10/8)

There's plenty of great action on Sunday's NFL sked, including the matchup between Pittsburgh and San Diego under the lights, as the Steelers try to bounce back from two straight defeats, and Ben Roethlisberger attempts to get untracked after a rough start that has seen him complete just 49% of his passes thus far. And who can ignore the return of Terrell Owens to Philadelphia, where the Eagles counter with the NFL's highest-rated offense under Donovan McNabb? On this edition of Superior SportsTalk, host Charles Jay runs down the pointspreads, totals and money lines at SuperiorBook.com, and also offers "Jay's Plays" on today's NFL contests, as he is using them in his $1 Million World Sports Betting Challenge against the book.

SUPERIOR SPORTSTALK: Sunday rundown - NFL lines, and "Jay's Plays" to boot

At this point in the football season, it's time to start separating the men from the boys. And as usual, there are a lot of questions to be answered by this week's NFL slate. For example, since the Carolina Panthers desperately want to avoid falling three games behind in the NFC South, will they be the catalyst for the New Orleans Saints' weaknesses to finally be exposed? Can the New York Jets continue to be competitive as the explosive Colts roll into town? Can the New England Patriots avoid losing two games in a row for the first time since 2002? Will the Seahawks be able to produce points without Shaun Alexander? Can the Chiefs do so without Damon Huard? Will Alex Smith, Phillip Rivers and/or Marc Bulger throw their first interception of the season? And in a Dallas-Tennessee game that is suddenly replete with dramatic storylines, will Terrell Owens, fresh off his "accident," rebound to contribute to the Cowboys offense? And what will Vince Young be able to produce in his first NFL start? On this edition of Superior SportsTalk, host Charles Jay runs down the NFL lines and examines these situations, offering up his own "Jay's Plays" along the way.
